The practical questions we often get
Our company is incorporated in France and we are most often Paris-based, with a 0-office operating model. When required by the clients, we travel and work on site. Otherwise, we work remotely with collaborative tools. This is what being global implies.
We don’t display prices on our website because every collaboration offer is tailor-made and the pricing varies a lot depending on the client situation and the size of the project. After our initial conversation, we will be in a position to extend a detailed offer for collaboration where the financial aspect of the project will be clear.
It depends on the type of project you want to launch and your time constraints. For renewals of plans, we usually start the process between 60 and 30 days before the renewal date of the insurance contract for insured employee benefits. You need to have a clear understanding of notice periods for each contract and country. SoBenefit® can monitor this information to facilitate the renewal process and align renewal dates on one or two strategic dates to make the process more efficient. For M&A projects, it is important to understand plans you will need to implement on closing or after a transitional period and work closely with lawyers to anticipate legal entities set up and employees’ transfer timing.
The duration of a project really depends on the type of challenges your company is facing (M&A, new subsidiary to open etc), the countries in which you consider implementing /changing benefits and your time constraints ! Also, employee benefits are connected to other external/internal factors and workstreams (Finance, Legal…). You cannot expect to implement employee benefits before a legal entity is fully set up together with local bank accounts and payroll. You need to anticipate additional time to make sure the various parties are aligned and the communication is smooth. Project Management is key. For a straightforward audit, the key factor will be the time allocated to collect relevant quantitative and qualitative data. SoBenefit® can help organize this data collection with collaborative tools to minimize the time spent by local subsidiaries to provide this information. Where possible, we will connect with local brokers to collect information directly from them. Again, communication will be crucial for local subsidiaries to understand the purpose of this exercise and for them to be reactive.
